It felt so weird, to watch Lydia show her physical affection. The surreal sensation returned and Mandy just blinked as she watched the girl raise her knuckles up to her mouth, planting the soft kiss, as naturally as shaking hands or smiling. It made Mandy's heart skip a beat and she smiled shyly.
"Fake boyfriends..." Mandy giggled a little, "I never thought of that before, trying to get a fake boyfriend. I guess I never thought of it, because I'd have to find a gay male, and I don't know any. At least I don't think I do... I didn't think I knew any other lesbians either." Mandy smiled at Lydia a little brighter and squeezed her hand, "I wish we could be open about it too, but we both know even a simple date would land us in a work camp, or worse. I'd rather secretly go out on a date with a girl though, then force myself through a public date with a guy."
