Harry gave Orion a little smile, reaching out to rest his arms on the other's shoulders, lightly playing with the hair on the back of Orion's neck.
"I'm grown up and moved out," he assured the other boy. "If they're not in love any more and they do split up...they're individuals who deserve to be happy and if they can find happiness by going separate ways, then that's what I want for them. That's all I could ever want for them, happiness. They're not parting on bad terms, they've just grown apart.
"I just don't want to make it any harder for either of them if I don't have to. I know they love me, but they might not take it well, you know? Only one child, no grandchildren ever going to happen, and of course they'll worry that life will be harder for me. I don't want them wondering if they did something wrong for me to turn out like I did."
