Andy just watched her silently as she started in on whatever it was. He was not reassured by her trying to convince him it wasn't bad. That just made him tense slightly. He took a swig from his bottle and then gave her a look that said "go on". It wasn't that Andy never wanted her to settle down and have a family. One of them should, and she had a hell of a better chance at it than he did, not only because she was actually attractive, but people could generally stand to be around her much more than they could him. It was a dream he had for both of them, but he wasn't fooling himself when he thought more than one of them would achieve it. That, however, didn't mean that anyone would ever be good enough for his sister, so when she said she was seeing someone, he looked down at the beer in his hands, trying to tell himself inside to relax, let her finish, because you at least owe her the chance to get it all out. He could assess the worthiness of this asshole after the fact. Still, he was visibly tense, and he was twisting the bottle in his hands, like he had done in the past when he was uncomfortable with something.
He was about to interject and ask who exactly this punk was, and where he could find him when she continued. Andy looked up at her, his brow furrowed, not sure at first that he'd heard her right. She was pregnant?? This asshole thought he could knock up his sister without even putting a ring on her finger first? Well, now he was definitely a dead man, because Bee deserved only the best, and even that wouldn't be as good as she deserved. He put his bottle of beer down on the coffee table a bit harder than he'd intended, and leaned his elbows on his knees, lacing his fingers together in front of him. He was quiet for a long moment, thinking through all of this in his head. It just kept coming, everything he needed to mentally digest, but this one got pushed to the front of the line. "You're pregnant" he said in a quiet, surprisingly calm voice. "Who exactly is this fucker then? Because I definitely have some words I'd like to share with him. Make sure everything is straight on his end, and that we have an understanding."
