There was not a single part of her that ever thought a hug from him would be off limits or bad, she thought they were pretty much just part of life. Probably because there was a picture of her when she was about two latched onto his right leg and not letting go no matter what. She had no idea what was going on that caused her to latch on like that, but if she thought about it, she never really let go. Sure there were fights over the years. She especially remembered one where she refused to owl him back for a total of 6 days while at school. That was actually a big deal, as silly as 6 days could sound in a lifetime, that was probably one of the biggest 'fights' they ever hard.
She grinned and took his arm easily, it was comfortable, he was younger than the man she was used to, but he was still the same in a lot of ways, he still smelled the same and had the same feeling to him. It was the most comforting thing she'd felt so far since coming to the past. "Uhh...." She teased. "Well, we did find you some good potions for your hair." Izzy started as she gave a thoughtful expression. "But Aunt Lavender helped with them, and they just turned your hair pink for a few days. Otherwise, your hair is still completely in tact."
Heading into the restaurant and to the table, she turned to look at him as he said sorry. "No, don't be sorry, how were you supposed to know we'd show up?" Izzy said. "Besides, I'm pretty sure you brought me something back from France, or little me something back, which is me, so we're even." She shrugged with a smile. "How'd he do?" She was also pretty sure she knew the answer to this too, but sometimes it was better to give him the chance to tell her.
