Clover and Justin
"From where I'm sitting, you've had quite a lot of them. Maybe you should stick to Seeking," Justin returned. It was amazing how much easier this kind of banter was when you were with someone you didn't have such complicated feelings for. Justin had almost forgotten what it was like to just hang out with someone. Maybe getting out had been a good idea after all. The way things had been with Summer, he always felt this kind of nervousness being around her. Right now, though, he wasn't feeling any of that and it was nice.
"My staff ganged up on me," he admitted, making a face of mock chagrin. "They told me they were going to change the locks on me if I didn't take a few days off on my own and do something completely unrelated to the pub." He laughed and shook his head as he took the orange bags from her. "I am having fun, though," he added quickly, "so I suppose I can forgive them for the coup."
