Maria and Open!
If there was a party to be had, then you'd better believe that Maria Flint was there! Well, sort of. In all honesty, she had debated if she really wanted to go, since a quiet night at home sounded rather appealing as well. However, she decided that it would be fun, and if it wasn't, she was under no obligation to stay. So, she showed up and started to make the rounds, talking to everyone as she worked her way through her second brownie. Face it, Maria had priorities, and right now chocolate was one of them. After she'd said hello, or at the very least waved, to people to say hello she decided it was time to stay as far away from the record player as possible. A friend of hers had suggested that she take a turn, but since she did that for a living...Maria didn't really think it sounded like too much fun. She'd laughed it off and said maybe later she'd give it a go.
Instead she headed back outside and towards the ladder golf game...and stood there and stared at people playing it trying to figure out how it all worked. Once the people that were using it had finished Maria decided it was time to give it a go for herself. She put down her lemonade and picked up one of the pieces of rope with the balls attached to it and decided to chuck it over...yeah...that didn't go so well...oops. Okay...time to try again...and again...and again. She started to get so consumed with it that she didn't even realize she wasn't alone any more.
