Clover and Open!
It was amazing what a win could do for a person. She wasn't feeling all the way better, but ninety-percent there. There was still a small part of her that was worried that this had been a fluke, however, she'd decided to take that and turn it into something else a little more productive. They would keep this going. They'd show everyone that they could get on a winning streak just like any other team. At this point, she seriously doubted that they could catch the Magpies, or anyone else could for that matter, however, playoffs were in mind, and if they could just make sure they made the cut, then the whole season wouldn't matter if they could just pull it off then. And she really did believe they could now that they'd found traction.
And this little soiree that their new keeper was throwing seemed to be a pretty good way to hang out and just keep everyone's spirits up. Which, she'd learned, was half the problem. She was playing Cornhole with Indira and laughing probably harder than she had in a while, when she threw her bag a little too hard and it ended up flying into someone's lap.
"Crap! Sorry!" she called over as she half-jogged over to where the bag had landed. "Sorry about that." she said with a big grin on her face. "Now that it's in your lap, want to come over and join us?"
