Strat shook his head a bit. "Good to know that you're thinking ahead." not even thinking about how easy this back and forth was. Which, if anything was a nice sign that things, although weird at times, were at least coming along. It seemed to him it wasn't that long ago that this banter was...slower, and even a little unsure. This was so much better.
"Oh yes, she'll be all for that. I mean, that is unless she reads it and thinks you've completely lost it." he said half-calling her bluff half just amused by the entire situation.
It was Straton's turn to shrug a bit. "Not such a bad thing. I like it quiet at the moment." sometimes he did, sometimes he didn't. In truth, he usually went in phases with that sort of thing. And with the season starting and all of that on his plate, Strat was okay with a minimal social life at the moment. "I honestly, don't know. This guy is either going to be a great addition, or I'm going to fire him within a week." he admitted. The guy wasn't very big, but he was sharp and crafty so he wasn't worried about him getting overwhelmed in certain situations. Well, sort of. "In all actuality, I think Chambers does that for the most part." It was no secret that Strat really didn't care for the elder McLaggen either. Or you know, at all. But he also knew better than to try and tell his sister what to do.
