"You're right. I wasn't," Conrad said turning to look at her, taking a deep breath before continuing. "And I'm sorry," he told her, watching her for a moment before turning his attention back to Callen and apologizing to him too. He could admit when he was in the wrong, especially when he was called on it, he just didn't like to. And he was still nervous enough about keeping his job that he needed to make sure not to give the players any reason to complain about him.
