Strat put on a small grin on his face and shook his head. "It's nothing." he said trying to sound reassuring, because it really had been nothing. "Sometimes my head just goes on random tangents." he shrugged a little bit, because it really had been nothing. Or rather, nothing he really wanted to share at the moment. Since, he didn't want to come across as being more negative than he actually was. Especially, not right now when they were still getting to know one another in a better way.
He honestly wasn't as kind as she probably thought he was. Though, he would admit, if he knew, he would probably be a nice change of pace. Oh sure, he wasn't a bad guy by any means. Start was just...ambitious and he usually didn't let things get in his way. Of course, that would also lead to a lot of thought and feelings on his end about what was right and wrong, but in the end it all sort of came up in various shades of gray and tried to do the best he could.
"Yeah." he said simply before taking a drink from his coffee cup. "I mean, there are only so many hours in the day I can work out, without feeling like various parts of me are going to fall off." he said with a bit of a laugh. He wasn't one of those guys who felt like he had to go work out to release stress. Sure, maybe a run, but usually he just did the minimum to keep himself into shape for his job. "What about you? What do you do to escape?" he asked much more comfortable talking about her than himself, though, he was doing a pretty good job of hiding that at the moment.
