"Even if it wasn't a good movie, which it was, I still would have enjoyed the company at least." Meredith wasn't exactly sure how that came out, or if it came out the way she'd even meant it to, but she had a feeling it'd be okay, or she hoped it did. She really needed to stop worrying every second that she was going to do something stupid, because if she kept worrying about it, she knew that she was going to do something stupid… and that was just dangerous.
She nodded a thank you as she walked through the door, glancing back with a smile as he said anything she wanted. She just ordered a mint tea, Meredith wasn't that picky, but she also knew if she had caffeine this late she'd never get to bad and she had a feeling she'd have a hard time sleeping tonight anyways given that she knew she'd be replaying the 'date' in her mind before actually falling asleep.
Once they'd ordered, gotten their drinks and found a place, Meredith leaned back tucking her feet under her as she held the hot mug in her hands. "How often do you go to movies?" That was such an uninteresting thing to talk about, way to go…
