She's a mess The excitement in the air only escalated as the crowd roared for the blonde haired beauty to make her appearance. They screamed her name over and over in unison; crying for her to come upon that stage and show them why they were there. It was always a sight to watch the famous starlight grow to extreme heights and sing so almost the whole world would hear her.
Preparations for the stage were done way before she even arrived. Of course she had to test it the day before to make sure it could carry her weight for the next day; this day. There was no worry whatsoever within her bones. She was ready for this, like she was for any concert she loved putting together. There was one last check for her outfit, making sure it was all put together and nothing would fall off while she was dancing around, though she wouldn’t really mind. The girl has danced around in nothing but a bra and panty-like outfit before. And did she care what people said about her outfit ensemble? Hell, no. She wanted to be herself! People have tried to stop her, but that only caused her to excel in her designs.
A stage crew yelled in her direction that she needed to get out there. Cat took a few more minutes to do her breathing excurses and say a small pray with the rest of her band and dancers before making her way toward the bright lights and all those screaming fans. The set list was made up days ago, but it never hurt to have a cheat sheet laying somewhere on the stage for her to remember what order the songs were supposed to be sung in. Of course her bestselling single was saved for last as was her soaring to new heights along with it. She was prepared to give her fans the best ending ever. They were on fire from every song she has sung through the hour of her concert. And as she told them all what it was she was singing next, she was amazed by the pitch the screams amped up to. That had the adrenaline pumping faster through her than ever before.
As Cat sang “Born This Way” she wanted her fans to sing with. When she would sing a part of the song, the microphone was pointed toward the crowd and they would sing the next set of lines. She was having way too much fun, even if she was sweaty and slowly feeling the exhaustion seeping into her already aching muscles. But she had one more thing to do. And as the part was coming up, Cat tilted her head back and sang the verse as she concentrated on the rest of her body, willing herself to grow to a certain height that she had in mind, but also to the height that she was only allowed to grow because of the weight that would add. She didn’t move at first as she finished one part of the song.
But, when she moved one foot and started to turn toward her fans, it wasn’t hard to hear a snapping sound down below. Cat brushed it off and didn’t put too much thought into it, so she continued with the song. It was only a few seconds later that she felt the stage slowly start to slope forward. It was too late to react, since things were moving faster than her brain was to process that the stage was falling apart because of what she did, and that she was falling. She didn’t shrink back to her original height until she hit the stage butt first and fall to her side, due to the fact that the stage broke in so many places.
People were screaming all around her, but the crowd was quiet as they looked on with shock. The flash of a camera went off in dead silence. And all Cat could do was lay there and look as shocked as everyone else did. While she took in the scene around her, she thought over on how the stage could break so easily under her footing. Maybe she over did it? If so, then this was all her fault. She caused all these people on the stage to get hurt because of her own stupidity.
She didn’t realize her manager came over to her and tried to pick her up and put a blanket around her. She didn’t realize she was covered in blood.
