When: Afternoon, May 12 (slightly backdated)
What: Curiosity, coffee, and maybe conversation.
Rating: Medium (possible language)
Frank had found the coffee shop without much trouble, mainly because he had stopped by here more than once on his frequent trips in and out of the Tombs. If he wasn't being rescued, he was rescuing someone else and it hardly mattered. Ordering a coffee, just a plain coffee, black, thank you, he went and found himself a place to sit that was out of the way and accessible to the door if the detective decided it was time to leave.
Detective Powers had it better and worse than he did, he mused as he dropped into the seat he'd chosen. Her story had been splashed all over the papers a while back and though he hadn't noted it but in passing at the time, Frank had taken the time to dig up the articles on it since he'd remembered he owed someone a coffee and discovered his phantom commenter was none other than the Lazarus detective.
Curiosity over her comments (never mind his idiot answers) led him to hunt down her email and here he was, waiting to find out why she'd commented at all. If nothing else, the coffee was good and the company guaranteed to be interesting. As long as she arrived before he got yet another ticket for parking the Triumph on the sidewalk, life would be fantastic.
