Hello, It's good to see you coming back again. It's been a long time Since I sat with you, my friend…
Eisen hadn't expected to actually make it the whole trail without either becoming winded or having some kind of trip-and-fall incident, but he had. There had been a point at about the five-hundred-yard mark where he'd stumbled and almost taken a face-first flop into a giant moss-covered rock, but he'd kept himself on his feet and continued on the trail. He hadn't even dropped the backpack full of food that he carried, which was quite the accomplishment with someone who had the coordination Eisen had!
"I'm telling you, dude, the only way that cloud looked like a rabbit is if the rabbit got run over by a car. And frankly, if that's what you saw, your brain is a far more morbid place than I thought!" he chided as he un-shouldered the pack he carried and set it on one of the park benches.
As someone who wasn't usually a nature freak, Eisen was enjoying himself. The fresh air had helped him clear his mind more than he thought it would. Yes, there were still thoughts about how tomorrow was Mother's Day and he'd be spending half the day in a mental institution, and how tomorrow evening was a charity benefit, and he would more than likely be the only one in the lab not going. But as he stood at the lookout point at the end of the trail and grabbed a bottle of water from inside the pack he carried, it was easier not to think of all that unpleasantness. He made a note to thank Toby for suggesting that they spend some time together before the afternoon was over.
"I'm sure all the rabbits in the forest are terrified now, either that or they have a complex and are in their bunny holes looking in their bunny mirrors and wondering if they actually have large, bulbous, cloud-shaped growths coming off their faces."
