Laughter, joy and chatter filled the courtyard, and Elsa found her face was hurting from smiling so hard. Never in a million years had she thought that life would turn out the way it had, that people would take joy from her gift rather than fear. It made her heart sing, and she was grateful for the changes that had been made.
Elsa moved away, watching her sister and Kristoff as the two of them skated together. Elsa wasn't sure if it was love between the two of them, but they were happy with one another. She let out a content sigh, and clasped her hands in front of her, eyes slowly surveying the scene before her. A line of worry appeared between her brows when she felt a shift in the air. A warm breeze drifted over her, the soft fabric of her dress ruffling with it. She did a half turn, arms coming up to shield her face as a stronger blast of air hit her and she was tugged forward. Stumbling forward, Elsa caught herself, arms out, feet spread shoulder width apart.
"Anna!" She called, a note of panic in her voice as she did a full circle. This was definitely not Arendelle, or any place near it that she knew of. "Hope Springs..." She read the sign in front of her, brows furrowed low over her eyes at the sign. Taking a few cautious steps forward, Elsa placed her hand on the warm sign, feeling the wood underneath the palm of her hand. Her eyes traveled downward, "What...?" She knelt, picking up a key and ignoring the other items for the time being. The golden raised letters on the key read 105C.
Finally her attention turned to the black contraptions that had been there along with the key. There was no note, no explanation as to what was going on, and Elsa was utterly confused. Why? What was all of this? Why were these things there? Were they for her? Where was Anna? Too many questions and not enough answers, that's all she knew right now. Frost began to form over the key where she held it, a few small snowflakes falling down around her although they melted the moment that they landed. "What is going on?" She murmured to herself, so lost in her own thoughts that she didn't hear anyone approaching.
