It felt as if the mall was busy all the time, from the moment it opened until the moment it closed. Elsa was always going, going, going while working in the bakery and to be honest? She loved it. Ice cream cakes were her specialty, although she had learned to make a variety of other baked goods during her short time there.
The staff enjoyed it when she decorated, especially cakes that needed to be rushed out since she could cool them down enough so that the icing wouldn't melt off. Elsa was happy doing her job, she truly was, and it kept her mind off the big green hand in the sky and being stuck here. She had to wonder about the motives of the people, or beings that had brought them all together. Surely they didn't expect them to be trapped here forever.
Maybe it did though, and the idea of never seeing her home again made her sad.
Elsa ended her shift, taking off her apron to hang it up before exiting the shop. Reaching up she pulled the pins that held her hair up, stuffing them into the pocket of her dress before shaking her braid loose. On her way toward the exit, she had to pass close to the food court, and the various smells wafting around made her stomach growl.
Normally Elsa would've gone back to the apartment to cook, but instead she paused for a few moments to consider buying food before leaving. A voice startled her out of her thoughts, and she glanced over at the young man with wide eyes.
Confusion clearly colored her features as she tried to figure out who Sara was since she didn't see anyone else around. Perhaps it was someone he knew? Another inhabitant of Test City maybe? Elsa didn't know, but she smiled back anyway, hands clasping together in front of her.
"I don't blame you for avoiding the hand. It's tried a few times to get me." Elsa had frozen the water before it could hit her, only to distance herself and thaw it back out again. The hand seemed to enjoy that game, so she'd taken to staying inside unless she had to go into work.
"I am having a wonderful day." She offered with a smile and nod, "I work here." She stated then held up a hand and shook her head, "I am not saying that I don't enjoy working here or the mall. I do love my job, and being here." A light laugh parted her lips, "How about yourself? Are you enjoying your day?"
