Peggy followed Steve into the kitchen silently before taking a seat. Going through the box she pulled out onw of the tea bags and handed it to him. "Thanks," she said simply with a smile.
"Just slightly. I can imagine you would have been confused as hell over it. Much like appearing here I imagine? Though not so bad as the time difference wouldn't have been much for you after..." she trailed off. "I imagine if it was anything like this place it would have been incredibly startling," she admitted. "I'm still not sure what I make of all this," she said waving her hand around to indicate the town in general.
"No," she shook her head. "I'm working with the SSR still and it's very much a man's field again now that thew ar is over. I've done some side work though for a friend." That was probably a good way of putting it. "He got himself in a sticky situation and couldn't legally get out of it so they came to me," she admitted with a shrug.
