"I'm not used to slow days either," Peter commiserated, but then again, he didn't think Kono was out making interesting things happen in the same ways he did. If necessary, Peter left bodies in his wake, or broke into places and used force where charm wouldn't work. Every little step brought him closer to his goal, even if it wasn't attainable. What people didn't take into account was just because Peter deemed it necessary, that didn't mean he liked doing it. The wolf preferred cunning, lies and manipulation to get what he wanted and he would have likely lived his entire life with the gold eyes of a beta with no blood on his hands had the Argents not burned his family, his house and the nicer parts of him in that fire.
As she sat down, Peter turned his own chair slightly though he kept the console in view and the headset in place. Technically he was still employed and he certainly intended to stay that way for as long as possible. "That is quite the understatement." Regardless of if he had been here for other strange occurrences, the fact he was trapped in a city he had never heard of under and impenetrable dome was reason enough for him to believe there was more to this city than was made obvious.
