Death smiled as Charlie appeared in her doorway. "Poor dears, not that I have any control of that one." she smiled a bit at him. "Oh I love it. It's lovely. Thank you for letting me have the loft." she smiled warmly and gestured for him to come inside.
She knew a lot more than she let on. It was one of her abilities to be nearly all knowing. But she downplayed it and ignored it - there was no benefit to knowing here. It could be helpful but she found she liked the surprise. Death didn't pick on people, or tease them, she studied them and tried to figure them out. One day in a hundred years or so was not really enough to understand them.
"No this is perfect for me, thank you. I do like the high ground and you're correct, it's a little rough not being as free as I am used to. But it's not too awful - I'm learning a lot." another smile. Smiles came easy for her. She was pretty easy going and loved her job, and life.
"I'm glad you were okay with me joining you two. I do like the idea of housemates, it's rather lovely." she didn't mind - Liv was interesting and outside of her domain, and Charlie interacted with those who got left behind for various reasons. It was comforting to know those who did not move on had someone to lend their ear.
