Peace was often short lived, not that Itachi minded many interruptions. He wasn't fighting, and he hadn't really been thinking about too much so the intrusion wasn't exactly unwelcome. Most people, however, did tend to avoid him, especially back home, but that was a different story.
Everyone knew who he was, and that he'd killed his clan when he was 13. Here no one knew of his past crimes, at least, there wasn't anyone from home here yet. That could change, considering how often this place enjoyed bringing new people in.
Itachi turned his head, looking over at the woman. He gave a small shake of his head. "No, be my guest." He motioned to the table, and took another sip of his tea. She wasn't a threat as far as he was concerned, she was just another person trying to make their way around this city. Some were more efficient at it than others, Itachi was withholding comments about some people here that appeared to be too natural going about the city.
"How long have you been here?" He asked, turning his head to look over at her although he couldn't exactly make out what she looked like without the use of his Sharingan.
