Simon Petrikov hadn't truly been human in years. Between the magic of the crown, and wandering a radiation filled world for decades. his body had long since adapted to the hellish world. In truth he was a wizard of sorts, whose body was physically altered beyond even his own understanding. Broken limbs healed with ease as he just snapped them back into place, his stomach was never unsettled despite the quality of food consumed, and even his body was now cooler then a human's would ever be.
In all honesty the changes had occurred so casually that even the man didn't notice most of what was happening. Oh the beard and blue skin were easy enough to spot when the crown was atop his head, but the rest of it just became a natural part of who he was. The most damning change of all though was the way his mind had grown so addled with every passing day. There were times when his thoughts were his own to be sure, but sometimes Simon just had gaps in his memory altogether. He barely recalled the things she mentioned, but the keys in his pocket added weight to her words. With a little sigh he scratched his head before trying his hardest to focus on the conversation.
"I uh, I think I remember something about the sign and the rest. It's a little fuzzy but...well I would be most grateful for the aid." Wandering lost amid the crowd of people within the mall held no appeal for him at all. Oh it was simple enough to see that his new friend meant no harm, so taking her up on the kind offer just seemed like the wise course. "Oh, apologies for the lack of manners. My name is Simon Petrikov, and it is a pleasure to meet you Miss...uh, sorry, who are you my dear?"
