"You weren't." Veronica said, as she came out onto the grounds. What would she mind a little noise for? She'd lived in New York City. "And if you were, I could just block it out." She offered with a smile. The man didn't seem familiar to her, and she wondered if they had ever even spoken before today. Really, she needed to try and be more social.
"Actually, I knew you'd been working out here for awhile, so I thought you might be thirsty and I just made some lemonade." She smiled. "I can get you some if you'd like." And really he should probably take a break. She wasn't going to ask about the metal arm, even though she was kind of curious about it. They didn't know one another that well yet.
"Sorry, I should have started with hi...I'm Veronica." She held out her hand for him to shake. "It's nice that you're doing all this, you know." She nodded. "Since we're stuck here, might as well make it look nice and all that." She appreciated people who did things like that. The noise wasn't really a bother at all.
"So lemonade? I also have tea...it's whatever you'd prefer." Or maybe he didn't want anything at all, and that was fine too.
