Birthright. She was a wolf by birthright. No wonder Caine had been able to scent her out in a crowd. Her genome must literally be a teeming mess of Lycan. The creators at home would have fallen all over themselves to grovel for a vial of her blood for replication. She'd have been entitled before she could finish drawing a breath after announcing her birthright. Caine shook his head again at how strange this place was to let such valued members of society associate freely with the lowest of the low. Whomever was in charge of Test City? Their sense of decorum was even more lax than Caine's which spoke volumes for how ridiculous they must behave in polite situations.
"Splicing is common in my portion of the greater galaxy. I was genetically engineered by a creator for a specific purpose. My design was flawed which resulted in what I am now before you. Where I am from---"
Caine tried to think of a way to explain to her no one allowed splices to breed. It wasn't considered a topic in polite company among humans of Earth. He had learned that from talking to Jupiter who had seemed very uncomfortable discussing it with him even indirectly. She was hardly sheltered. She'd been willing to sell her own future offspring for financial gain with no idea of how valuable her genome truly was which made Caine more than a bit angry to think on. He wanted to tear apart any doctors who would dare to dissect away the future of the House of Abrasax for money. Jupiter was Seraphi Abrasax in recurrence. She was worth no amount of money and every amount of respect which could be paid to another.
"We are not permitted to breed on our own. Our kind have no ability to become what we are through birthright due to the way we are formed by the creators. We are not natural occurrences. You have no idea how prized you would be for your birthright. You would literally be a queen among the entitled where I hail from and none would dare think otherwise. I would likely be rendered mute for speaking to you."
He gave a chuff of laughter very canine in sound, showing a hint of fangs as he smiled at her.
