Sounded like mutants to Tony. He'd talked to one of those. Weird guy with mindreading. Skye wanted something to block her ability from manifesting since she believed herself to be a danger to the general public. Tony could handle making something of that nature if he knew what he was holding back. Her metabolic rate? Her heart rate? Was he supposed to regulate her hair growth? Who knew? His basic schematic for her didn't tell him nearly enough for him to immediately start making plans for anything to assist her. Tony was a genius, but even genius had its limits.
"What exactly can you do and what triggers it? I need to know what I'm regulating if I'm going to build you an inhibition system. I fixed Extremis for Pepper. I'm confident I can fix your genetic snafoo if I know what I'm trying to hold back."
He thought she sounded lucky in actuality. Tony had been blessed with a mind sharper than a Ginsu knife. All he'd been was smarter than everyone else though. His body had functioned within the same human limitations as any other. There had been more than one time in his life when he'd deeply regretted being normal in that respect. Now he was different in the way he was? Tony had a better understanding of how Skye might be feeling in her current situation. He hadn't exactly asked for his nanites to get out of control the way they had. Not a day passed where he wasn't gathering evidence, feedback, any data he could possibly get JARVIS to lay metaphorical hands on to try to understand what he was in for with the nanites in his sytem.
Tony wouldn't change his abilities now. He was too happy with how well he meshed with his post-Extremis fiancee.
That didn't mean he had no idea how Skye might be feeling about awakening powers within herself she couldn't control.
"I want to help you. I will help you. I just need more than a basic graph to work from since this really isn't my area of expertise."
