She let herself smile when the bartender set the Malbec down in front of her. Whether the smile was because of the dark purplish red of the wine, or because Rebekah was a vampire as well was up for debate.
She picked up the glass of wine by the stem, and studied it for a moment. Different shades of red had different tastes. Light reds, or pinks were light, sweet, but not all that filling. Darker reds on the other hand were richer, heartier, and much more filling. "So, Bex, how long have you been here?" she asked before dipping her fangs into the wine, and devouring the red.
In a mere moment the glass of wine had turned colorless. Marceline took a sip, and nodded, "Not bad!"
