"My name is Ella," she said kindly, not bothered terribly that the older woman referred to her as child. Ella knew she was not, and that was all that mattered in her mind. The woman clearly had magic, which was familiar in it's own way, though she seemed to think Ella had been following her. It didn't seem prudent to correct her in a less subtle manner, so she let the comment slip by. "It's not terribly dangerous, I don't think. Whatever danger I might cross, it would be well worth it for the bright stars and clear skies, though," Ella added in reply.
She always saw the good in people, after all. She was no threat to anyone, and trusted that anyone else would recognize that about her as well. It also helped that Ella knew she could reach out to Wade for help, if she ever needed it. He'd promised to look after her, all because she'd been kind. Ella made a mental note to purchase some fresh vegetables to make another stew for him. He'd enjoyed it, the first time around.
"I would not mind the company, if I would not be intruding," Ella offered warmly, never one to pass on quiet conversation. "Are you a Fairy Godmother?" she asked, asking the question she was most curious about. Her own Fairy Godmother had a wand, though. This woman didn't seem to have any kind of wand-like instrument to perform her magic. "My Fairy Godmother is the only person I know who can perform such tangible magic."
