Relief washed over Elsa the moment she heard Anna's voice, and she picked up her pace as well. It's not a trick, it's not a trick. She kept repeating the mantra over and over again in her head until the moment she actually laid eyes on Anna.
Looks could be deceiving, but Elsa was holding out hope that Anna was real.
She wrapped her arms around Anna in a tight embrace, happy to find her solid, real and there. Still that begged the question as to who was ruling the kingdom with both of them gone, but for now? Elsa didn't care. She had her sister there with her, she was real, and that was all that mattered to her.
Tears of joy spilled from the corners of Elsa's eyes, "Oh Anna." Elsa didn't move, she didn't let go of her sister as she spoke. "You have no idea how happy I am to see you here." Reluctantly she pulled back, a bright smile curving up the corners of her lips.
Sniffling, Elsa reached up to dab at the corners of her eyes. "Sorry, I'm just -- I'm so happy to see you here." A light laugh parted her lips. Elsa had locked herself away for many years, she'd learned how to be alone even though it was not truly what she'd wanted.
She didn't want to be alone any more, but she'd been prepared to do just that if this place hadn't brought Anna here. "What was the last thing you remember, Anna?"
