Thea nodded. She thought Sean was a pretty nice guy, and she'd been happy to talk with him for a few moments. But she was working and she had a lot to do. It was good, to keep her mind off of other things. She would make sure his order was prompt and accurate, at least. It wasn't technically her job but that wasn't his problem. If she was who was available, so be it.
She got his order put in, and brought it out to him when it was ready. "Hope you enjoy it." She said sincerely, and then returned to her hosting duties. Looked like a few more people had come in so she wasn't having to pull double duty. She hoped that Sean would have a good experience and come back. Food service wasn't always so easy.
Thea stood at the podium and checked the next people in. This wasn't so bad, but it made her miss Verdant even more.
