It seemed like Test City had quite the collection going, with all sorts of people from all sorts of places. Claire didn't really care all that much, so long as Fisk stayed far away from wherever she was. Although, Claire figured it would be easier to dispose of the bastard in Test City than back in Hell's Kitchen. That was a problem for Daredevil, once Fisk showed his face again. Even though she didn't quite like the idea of killing anyone, Fisk was the kind of person she wouldn't mind seeing dead.
"That it does," she agreed, about how much energy it took to be in a position like her's. That reminded her, she probably should check in on Thirteen. Claire grinned at the sentiment behind Sirius' words, finding that even though she didn't need his approval to do what she wanted, it was nice to know that he agreed she deserved the reward for all the hard work she'd put in during the monster invasion. "You know what? You're right. I am going to enjoy some whine and chocolate, and I'll go back to eating more balanced meals after I sleep another twelve hours." That sounded like one hell of a good plan, to her.
What made her frown was how easily he lied about how he was doing. It wasn't necessarily her place to get him to talk about it, but it also wasn't healthy for him to keep it all bottled up inside. "Might as well be no one, for as much as we know each other," Claire decided to reply. "Kind of lonely, but work keeps me busy and I'm sure this place won't make the last bit of trouble be some monsters. I've got a feeling there'll be plenty more nights of wine and chocolate in my future." She wasn't exactly looking forward to that, but it was part and parcel of being a nurse. People never stopped getting hurt just because she needed a break or had worked too long already.
"You know, if you're lying to me about how you're doing, that's fine. You're allowed. It's not fine if you're lying to yourself, and that's a hell of a lot more dangerous, especially when you don't have friends here and this place is prone to fuckery." Claire fixed him with a piercing gaze. "You ever want to talk, you ask me or someone else. Whatever you're dealing with, it's not the end of the world." Claire paused. "Well, probably not the end of the world." She gave him a smile. "Maybe have some wine and chocolate, too."
