They were fucking nasty. The very idea of running into one of them was enough to make Sirius's skin crawl and feel cold all at the same time. "Yes, I was." He'd been running from a couple of Death Eaters that'd been trying to catch him with the intent of torturing him for information on James and Lily's whereabouts.
He'd no idea where they were at, to be honest, he wasn't their Secretkeeper.
With a half smile, Sirius nodded. "Yeah, it's all working with the chemistry of the body and whatnot." Sirius honestly didn't care about the International Statute of Wizarding Secrecy here, it wasn't as if the Ministry was going to get him was it? They'd not sent anything to him after he'd mentioned it, and as such, it was hard to hide ones abilities here. They were needed more often than not here anyway.
Shaking his head, Sirius glanced over the other various baked goods. "I could imagine so. I don't blame you for sleeping, fighting or healing takes a lot out of a person. It's good to rest the soul and mind after a battle." Not that he knew a lot about resting, he slept best during the daylight hours these days than at night. "No one is ever too old for things they enjoy, love. Besides, I think you've earned a little enjoyment after everything." He gave a small nod of his head, as if approving her idea although he'd likely travel to the liquor store after to get a few bottles of something.
He lifted a shoulder, "I'm as right as rain." That was a complete and utter lie, but he did not wish to divulge what had happened to him during the event. "No, no one I know is here. What about yourself?"
