With Eren, Levi had had to be on guard all the time. He'd saved him once too from the other members of his squad by standing in front of his partial Titan transformation. It had been accidental, any idiot could've seen that but his squad had been scared. Titans were not a laughing matter regardless of their size, and no one had known what Eren was truly capable of.
Eren had lost himself once, and had nearly killed his best friend as a result.
Levi didn't believe that this woman wanted to hurt anyone really, much less him. Maybe he was betting a lot, maybe he shouldn't have offered to help, but the other guy she'd been talking to had set off all sorts of warning bells in his mind. He reminded him of the scum that had inhabited Underground City, a liar and a cheat who used sweet words to convince their victims that they weren't bad guys.
That guy was a bad guy, Levi could feel it in his bones.
He watched her with cool eyes, shoulders relaxing as she offered him a weak smile. It was something, at least. He could feel the electricity dying down in the air, the hairs on the back of his neck stopped standing up finally and the sparks died down.
Good signs as far as he was concerned. Control was something that Levi was personally obsessed with. Contrary to what everyone believed Levi did feel things, he just chose not to show them. There were reasons why he did what he did, and there were reasons why he'd been chosen as a squad leader.
Levi stepped forward once he was certain that she had her powers under control. "You're welcome." He gave a small inclination of his head toward her, "Having control is important. I'm sure landing here didn't help matters any." He'd been quite disoriented when he'd first arrived, so he could understand that, although he had been quite alive when he'd arrived.
Once again, Levi held out the items to her, "Here, this will help you feel better."
