Liv was unaware of what was going on. She was often in her own little world, and she didn’t even have Ravi here to keep her grounded. So the resident ME was usually holed up in here, by herself. And she was working on whatever body had come through. Thankfully she didn’t need to eat a brain any time soon. Little did Liv know, that was the least of her problems. Outside, there was something going on. Something bad.
She was listening to music, at an obscene volume so she didn’t hear what was going on outside either. She hadn’t checked the net in awhile, she didn’t feel like it all the time. She kind of felt so disconnected. It was like she’d been after she’d first turned. Ravi wasn’t here to give her hope for the cure. So she just kind of...existed.
The only person she’d talked much to was Charlie, and she hadn’t talked to him in a few days. It was hard to be a zombie girl.
When Charlie burst in, rambling about something...she didn’t even know what to think. He wasn’t making any sense. She picked up the remote and turned off the music, walking towards him.
“Charlie, what things are you talking about?” Was the hand back or something? She had mostly ignored that whole thing. Too weird. And she knew weird, since she was a zombie and all. He seemed to be in a panic. Should she slap him? No, she’d give him a minute. He seemed like he was genuinely worried about her.
