"Thank you!" He beamed, truly seeming to be basking in the compliment. "It's still not all broken in, need some more plants and things on the walls," he motioned to the mostly bare walls as he hurried to clean off the low table and the kitchen counters of items so she could lay out her drawings. "Restroom's the door on the left," he said, pointing in that direction. "May I offer the lady some tea to warm up with?"
