WHO: Tristan Moreau & Harper Tate
WHAT: Dinner… date?
WHEN: Oct. 5, Sunday, 6pm
WHERE: Parking lot → Vinci's
RATING: TBD
STATUS: Closed/incomplete
Despite the worsening of the sudden spider infiltration, Tristan wasn't going to let it get in the way of his dinner plans with Harper. Usually, he didn't mind the events that would happen, no matter how crazy they were. Sure, they were an inconvenience, but it rarely upset him. He would just somehow manage to take it in stride until it was over. However, this spider infestation, not only did he waste several minutes across hours with a rolled newspaper in hand, exterminating spiders left and right, and trying to get the cobwebs off the walls, he wasn't able to get any work done.
So, suffice to say, he showed up at the parking lot, where he was slated to meet Harper, with a frown on his face, which was an uncommon expression for him to wear. But he wasn't going to let her see him like that. He arrived at the lot earlier than the time agreed on, which was normal for him to do so, because a lady should never be kept waiting. He then took his time to shake off the annoyance, pacing slowly and a little back and forth, breathing in and out. There were still spiders outside, but at least he had a bigger space to move around, unlike his room.
He also decided to focus on other things, like how lovely it was going to be having dinner with Harper. A part of him admittedly felt a tad nervous, but tried to think nothing of it. He really didn't have a reason to be nervous as it would just be a nice dinner between two people, two colleagues. But this was definitely not work-related. Come to think of it, it would be the first time he would be going to dinner with another staff member alone, not in a group, and with someone who wasn't Tessa.
Ah, Tessa. Tristan could already imagine the look on her face if he ever got around to telling her about this. That hilarious mental image seemed to have done the trick, though, as he felt more relaxed now, resuming his patiently waiting for Harper with a calm and pleasant look on his face.
