who: Giles Auttenberg and Romeo García-Torres what: Business as usual? So there's a maze. Classes haven't been canceled, have they? when: 9/24, 7:45 AM status/rating: tbd
It was hardly the first odd thing that had happened to Romeo since he had started here as a freshman. He had learned to Be Prepared. As a matter of course he packed his lunch, not wanting to count on being able to access the cafeteria (and not wanting to count on what the cafeteria was selling being edible). He had plenty of books on his eReader, full charges on that, his cellphone and his iPod, and portable chargers juiced up and ready to go in the pocket of his bag. He had also restocked his first aid kit before going to bed the night before.
So when he left the dorm on Monday and walked right into the maze, Romeo's only real reaction was a slight sinking in his stomach. He placed his right hand lightly on the wall, and began to walk. Eventually, he must come out somewhere, or run into someone. Then the plan could be revised, yes?
If he didn't make it to classes today, it would not be for lack of trying on his part, he vowed as he trudged along gamely.
