Sean was excited. Oh, so excited. He was trying to play it cool, and not happy dance that much, but he couldn't help the extra pep in his step as he set out the Chinese food and got the DVD ready. His roommate was at his girlfriend's, where he should just move permanently because he was never in their dorm suite.
Thursday was usually one of Sean's lazier days. He only had one class in the morning then nothing after that. So he was wearing jeans and his zombie tee. He padded around in his socks, and everything, he hoped, looked welcoming.
When the knock came, he made himself count to five slowly before going to the door. He didn't want to seem too anxious to keep from freaking Scott out.
Which, by the way he was standing when Sean opened his door, hadn't worked. "Honey? What's wrong?" He reached out for Scott, but he didn't touch the young man, in case he didn't like that. "Oh, honey, c'min here. It's okay."
