Tristan was sure he was a dead man. He was dead and gone long before his friendly game of paintball with Penny was even over. Because what happened marked the end of that match (Tristan would have insisted they end it there before either of them got any more hurt), and they were also probably done for the day. You see, he liked to think that he had a good aim, what with all the practice he had in a firing range. But today was apparently not his lucky day, and he was certain Penny was not going to let him leave it down.
How could she when he accidentally shot her on her behind.
Tristan pretty much gave up, surrendered, ended the match or whatever suited best at that point. He dropped his paintball gun, held his hands up in the air and stared at Penny wide-eyed as he apologized profusely. "I am so, so sorry, Penny. I did not mean for that to happen." He said, standing at a distance from Penny, in case she decided to lunge at him or hit him with her weapon.
He couldn't even remember how it happened. "It was a complete and total accident. I'm so sorry. It will never happen again." Maybe another trip to the nearest firing range was in order.
