Hello!
Hey y'all, I'm Daniella, your resident Marlene McKinnon, your one-trick political pony settled in the fifth year Gryff girls' dorm. She's Northern Irish and very involved in the politics over there, though her family moved to Edinburgh to keep everyone safe during the Troubles. She'll only naturally gravitate toward the Order when she's done with school.

She's never gonna be prefect or Head Girl, but she'll be a decent Chaser after her time on the house quidditch team. She loves her housemates more than anything, but she generally has more acquaintances than friends. For more info on her, check out her bio and profile.

So feel free to comment to give me some idea of how or if Marlene would get along with your kids. Hey, Daniella! I'm Tabs and I play both Barty Crouch, Jr. and Xenophilius Lovegood. I enjoy those who reside on the mere fringes of society. I don't think Marlene would have much contact with Xeno, who's all adult and shit. But - Barty is a giant jack-ass (figuratively). He's a 6th Year Slytherin and tends to go about insulting people for his own amusement. He enjoys banter. xD Let me know what you think! Hurrah for Xeno Lovegood; I prefer to play Luna in Trio-era games, so I get your love for the slightly left of center. :)

Banter, Marlene is not so good at. But she'd give it a go if they ever accidentally ran into each other. If he started anything, though, she'd certainly be of a mind to finish it. ;) --But looking through his journal, I do see. Banter does look like a strong suit for him.

Hi! I'm Rebekah and I play two, Regulus Black and Darlene Guffy.

Awww, Marlene's cute. Darlene will love her to pieces, as she loves all her students. She thinks of them as her flock... or children, or what have you. She's the Head Girl with a Mother complex, or what have you. She wants to be everyone's best friend, basically.

Annnnd, Regulus would like her, but seeing as she's a... Gryffindor. And a... muggleborn. I just don't think it's destined to be! :P

Your IM is wicked familiar. What games have you been in recently??

Anywho. Edinburgh for the win. Most of my OC characters in HP come from there. =] But um. This is Donaghan Tremlett, Donnie for short, and he's the future bassist for Weird Sisters. Right now, he's the chaser for thee Gryff quiddy team and a 7th year. He's pretty nice.

I also have an adult, recently graduated Bridget Enders who is the future Mrs. Lovegood. I doubt they'd have much interaction if Marlene is a 5th year.

Marlene is supposed to be on the team, need to work out the details with Erin, so they should know each other from there. Regardless Marlene will think his musical dedication is awesome. :)

Hmm, I don't recognize your SN. Right now I'm playing in Eminor Macula, Altus Luminarum, and a game called Cortinula! gearing up over on Scribbld. but I've been playing in fandom for a few years now.

Hey Daniella, t'is Erin, the mod. I've got Severus Snape, who will dislike Marlene with the fire of 1000 suns, Gladys Gudgeon, who probably thinks she right on, Pearl Jugson, who thinks she (she being herself) is the center of the universe, and Rodolphus Lestrange, who is not aware of her existance and is perfectly alright with that.

Hi Erin. :) Aaww, Snape Snape Snape. Marlene would love to feel bad for the persecuted in Slytherin, but I'm sure he's a bit too nasty for her to feel too bad. :) I'll check out Gladys' and Pearl's info, ' haven't had a chance yet. And finally-- I think it's probably a good thing that Rodolphus doesn't knwo who she is beucase things will go downhill pretty quickly for my girl when he does, I'm sure. :L

One thing I did want to check in with you: the quidditch lineup for Gryff. I tend to play Marlene as a Chaser at school who gets picked up as a reserve Chaser for the Bats. Is there a spot for her at chaser on the Gryff team?

Lol here, let me save you some trouble. Pearl is a spoiled little girl who is a Purist. And Gladys is a Quidditch fanatic. As in, it is just about all she thinks about. She will probably like Marlene, and she likes nicknames, so she will call her...something I will come up with when I am not ridiculously tired, lol.

Also, yes! There is plenty of room on the Gryffindor team. I haven't updated the lists in a couple weeks because I suck at life, but I will get to that today.

hey, Daniella! this is CJ, and i play Sirius (and i've been MIA for a while because i fail but here now so HEY)! Sirius plays the position of Beater on the team so they'd most definitely know each other. if she can put up with his cocky, only-very-slightly (what? >_>) arrogant ways, then she just might like him even. :)

i'm up for any sort of plottage so let me know what sounds good to you! and wlecome to the game!

Marlene will be able to put up with the arrogance if only because Sirius' heart is in the right place. She can be a bit radical in her politics herself, so she'd love to get good and riled up with him over it. The end justifies the means and all.

With politics like his, I'm sure it's only a matter of time before she gets a bit of a crush on him; but romance is not on the top of Marlene's priority list, so I doubt it'd go farther than that.
