"I'm fine with them," the hunter answered, looking at the ladder and deciding that it was sturdy enough to hold her weight. She wasn't tall, but she was a little bulky from years of outdoor athletics and now the work it took to survive in the new world. "I climbed trees so much when I was a kid my mother threatened to start calling me Monkey."
She looked for a blank spot on the wall while shifting the stepladder, saying, "Fortunately they've got people who actually know how to make pretty things. I'm a fair cook and a pretty good hunter, but arty stuff was never my strong point."
A blast of cold entered the church as someone opened and closed the door, but by now Orion's fingers had warmed up a bit. "Hopefully there won't be too much snow this year, although I'm kinda glad to see some of the stuff."
