Mac wouldn't argue with the girl. It was still sad she didn't believe herself to be pretty, but Mac never worked too hard at flirting when it was obvious Mel wasn't getting the picture. "Well, perhaps you are, but at least know that someone thinks your lovely," Mac replied.
Mac's interest shifted to the topic of Melody and Topher. Mac wondered how close the two actually were. Her eye brows rose in interest as she listened. "Oh, is that so. That's very nice of you. Oh, I feel so rude, I'm Mac," she introduced herself, hoping her name would ring a bell. She figured now was a good time to mention who exactly she was. It was too late for Melody to take anything back, but Mac wasn't going to leave their conversation without the girl knowing who she had just spoke too. It was also a little experiment to see how quickly word got around, and whether or not Topher would come back to her about this little discussion.
