Melody smiled shyly again, shaking her head lightly. "I do, but I think I'M just seeing something else than you." She didn't think herself ugly or anything, just average. There were so many girls out there who were so much prettier than her after all!
Melody liked to sing, and it wasn't totally off key, but again, just like her appearance, it wasn't something she actually considered special. Her drawing and painting was something else though. She could spend hours doing nothing else! And people liked what came out of it.
"He's a really good doctor." she agreed with a ready smile, then her cheeks flushed again. "He is..." she murmured, barely audible, staring at her feet in her slight embarrassment. It was something else to talk to Vesper about him, who she had known basically all her life, and talking to a stranger. "I go to the clinic every now and then to help out a little, you know, counting stock and things like that." she offered. Of course that wasn't all she did, sometimes she just came for a little chat after school.
