Mac noticed the scrapes and the torn jeans. She really had underestimates how hard the girl hit the ground. What a klutz! She couldn't help but let out a small giggle. It was just too funny. Mac covered her mouth with her hand hid the giggle with some coughing. "Oh, excuse me. The cold be must be starting up a little bug or something," she explained.
Mac smiled lightly and nodded as she listened. "Aw, how nice of you. Just the Christmas spirit," she over exaggerated with pleasantness. She held back a disgusted sound when the red-head asked about the celebrations later that night. But she did trip over her next words some, replying with, "Y-yeah, sure, of course I am." Her tone wasn't convincing, even for Mac. She just couldn't muster the fakeness to be happy about the stupid holiday.
