Mac didn't jerk the girl up to her feet like she wanted to, but she did support most of the girl's weight while she got up. Feeling some of the girl's scraped skin on her hand, she felt a little bad for having caused it. Pretty skin shouldn't be scratched up. Mac hadn't realized how hard the other woman had hit the ground. Oops...
Mac nodded as the girl explained her clumsiness. This was turning out to be more fun than originally planned. The girl suspected nothing of Mac's true motives and her clumsiness just added to the hilarity of it. Minus the injuries, of course. Mac gently looked around for the keys, not really caring where they were. "Um.. hm..." she said, making like she was really looking for them.
Sadly though, she did spot them. "Oh, over there." Perhaps she could do another mean gesture and kick her keys out of the way? No, better not. But the thought did make her smile outwardly. She didn't move to help pick up the discarded keys, but merely pointed at where they were. "Busy day today?" she inquired. Just because Mac was avoiding the holiday didn't mean she couldn't ask about what others were doing with it.
