Melody would have to agree with Vesper. She missed the feeling of being part of one big community. This whole tribe business still felt strange to her. Like Ava - now Vesper - and her family, who she'd always been close to, now belonged to a different tribe. It didn't feel quite right to her, but who was she to complain? She had shelter and food and company, what more could she wish for in a world like this?
"Now I know how to make them efficiently. The first few batches were hard to figure out how to get everything right without a normal oven." But now it worked quite well. There was still the occasional mishap, but nothing too bad. "Oh, that sounds lovely! I don't think I've ever been to the maple trees to collect syrup."
