"I guess there's something to be said for people having your back," Orion said thoughtfully. "The one good thing about being on your own is that you don't have anyone to look after other than yourself, but the downside is it's kinda lonely." She had been thinking about tribes for a little while now, and maybe now that winter was on them she could actually make a decision.
Then again, it was the sort of thing she wouldn't be able to go back on if she decided she didn't like it. Maybe she should wait a little while longer.
"Was it because of the anniversary that you got so plastered?" she asked Busqueda, wondering if he'd call her rude again. But she was curious. He seemed like an all right guy other than the drinking. Looks could be deceptive, though.
