Jax was out making his rounds that afternoon with Shadow, enjoying the solitude the forest provided him. While he usually socialized a bit with his tribe in the waking hours of the morning, as each slowly emerged from their homes to migrate toward the morning fire, Jax preferred solitude.
Shadow was first to take notice of strangers within the Canos home boundaries, the wolf padding off casually, snout dipped to the ground as he followed the scent in a guarded, yet not aggressive stance. The wolf was soon slowly closing in on the strange cat and female human, more curious about the pair than anything else.
