Kahea and open (before dancing)
Kahea was all too ready for this day. As soon as the announcement was made, she began planning what she was going to wear, dress up like, perform, the whole works! She figured since it was a celebration of Earth things, water and weed, she'd dress as a sprite slash pagan dancer. Kahea chose to go with water as her element for the night, and set out to find things of blue in every color, fabrics, threads, make-up, and even body paint. The make-up and body paint she had to get creative and make herself, but she pulled it off.
She stood near the bonfire wearing bright blue, wire and fabric wings she had made for herself, fairy wings to be exact, and she had her breasts covered with a light blue, thin fabric that was square-knotted in the back, and a long dark blue skirt that would flow out and about when she danced that night. On her face, Kahea had a bright blue line that went across both her eyes, going from temple to temple, covering each eye lid complete, reminiscent of tribal war paint. She was able to make a blue lipstick for herself and the rest of her face was left bare.
As for her body, she had three shades of blue body paint on her, a light blue on her chest that blended the thin fabric into one with each other, a slightly darker blue around her hips, above her skirt, and dark blue coming up her arms and up her legs. She wasn't covered from head to toe, so what little skin tone was showing through looked to be accent color and added to the entire ensemble. Her hair was loose and flowing and she had made a small, blue, woven wreath to crown herself with, complete with bobby pins to keep it in place.
She planned a few belly dances for the night, as well as at least one lyrical dance, and of course whatever else moved her to do. She was beginning to stretch out her feet, flexing and pressing them against the ground and logs, also stretching out her entire body by leaning over and leaning back. She knew her tribe didn't care what she looked like that night, most of them also knew she needed this night: freedom, happiness, family.
Anela was there too, but she was busy being rubbed on by one of the Tawas, being spoiled at usual.
