Savage was hidden among the shadows when Mac walked close. He was out and about for almost the same reason. Sleepless nights for himself. He couldn't hold himself together since Amber... or Scarlet returned to his life. Scarlet. Could he ever get use to that. His Amber. Savage hated most that she saw him the way he was now. The monster that was deep with him, released into the world free and almost unchecked.
"It gets easier." Savage stated out to the woman, with out a care of startling her. "I promise it gets easier." Though deep down, Savage wasn't sure he believed his own words at that point. Distinctly, he could recall the look on every face that he stole life from. Every person he killed for sport, or defense. It wasn't something that the man he was before the Pulse could let him forget. "You have to remember that it was for a greater good. If we didn't do what we had to do, we'd be in their place instead." There was a slow shake of his head.
