Topher's brow creased and he opened his mouth to ask why he couldn't talk to them but changed his mind as Lot continued. His eyebrows rose a little bit at the mention of 'bi-polar' and he sighed softly. "Bi-polar? See, that changes the medication options, a bit, that were already in my head when you said depression."
The doctor gave a small shake of his head. "It doesn't matter who asks, Lot. Yes, it'll make Saga pissed but it's more to do with I just can't give out meds without knowing what or who I'm dealing with. I don't know what medication this person has been on before, or what ones they can have reactions to, or what level they should be on." Topher hesitated at the mention of morphine. He knew how much that would help to have supplies of but payment wasn't the issue. "They'll need to be assessed, I'm sorry. Without knowing the level of their condition, any medication I give you could make things worse."
