Miles didn't mean to, but he shuddered lightly when Theo said Stryde's name. He wasn't a fan of authority-type males, even though Stryde wasn't a muscle head authority figure, he was still an authority figure that was male.
Miles thought about the day he was captured, a memory he will never be able to get rid of due to his useful yet sometimes bothersome eidetic memory. He was able to put it aside quickly though, and focus on the conversation at hand.
"How do you help? I mean, I didn't mean that, that way, I meant, how do you go about helping?" Miles felt like a fool just then for his question, but part of him didn't understand it. Yes, there were many ways to help but he wanted to know how Theo helped people. How was it he was able to help after all that had happened? What exactly did he do to help? Was it words or actions or therapy or what?
